HEALTHY DIET


 Hi guys, ever wondered what’s the components of a healthy diet? ♥



Most health experts recommend eating a balanced, healthy diet to maintain or to lose weight. But exactly what is a healthy diet?
  • 1. A variety of nutrient rich carbohydrates, high-quality protein, and healthy fats.
  • 2. Appropriate portion sizes. Remember your stomach is roughly the size of your fist when empty!
  • 3. Regular meals. If eating three main meals a day does not work for you, try six smaller ones.
  • 4. Limited amounts of processed foods, and foods high in sugar or salt.

  • 5. Taking the time to enjoy and savor your food.


The basic components of a healthy diet include the right amount of:

  • Protein (found in fish, meat, poultry, dairy products, eggs, nuts, and beans)
  • Fat (found in animal and dairy products, nuts, and oils)
  • Carbohydrates (found in fruits, vegetables, pasta, rice, grains, beans and other legumes, and sweets)
  • Vitamins (such as vitamins A, B, C, D, E, and K)
  • Minerals (such as calcium, potassium, and iron)
  • Water
